And on July 1, Manila Standard Entertainment Editor Isah Red published a photo of Ruffa and John Lloyd unobtrusively strolling along the high-end boutiques of Rodeo Drive, Beverly Hills.

Ruffa Gutierrez confirmed at “The Buzz ” that they were the persons behind both photos. Ruffa explained that John lloyd is a very good friend and a shopping buddy also. She explained that she was just accompanying John Lloyd to that hotel because its the first time that John Lloyd will be in L.A.

Meanwhile, entertainment columnist and Startalk host Ricky Lo attests that Ruffa Gutierrez and John Lloyd Cruz are definitely an item as revealed to him by Ruffa Gutierrez’ mom, the feisty Annabelle Rama.

“We are not a couple. We enjoy each other’s company. We go out. We text. Pero hindi po kami magkasintahan, okay,” the actress explained.
