Twilight wins Best Movie in 2009 MTV Movie Award and The ‘New Moon’ Official Trailer 05/31/09

Twilight has just been awarded the win for “Best Movie” at the MTV Movie Awards!

This is not a surprise since we all know that fans are in full support – voting, voting, and voting some more – for the film since it was announced as a nominee for the category.

Twilight beat out The Dark Knight, High School Musical 3: Senior Year, Iron Man, and Slumdog Millionaire.

Best Fight – Robert Pattinson and Cam Gigandet from Twilight.
Best Breakthrough Performance – Male: Robert Pattinson, Twilight
Best Kiss: Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, Twilight
Best Female Performance: Kristen Stewart, Twilight
Best Movie: Twilight, directed by Catherine Hardwicke

Twilight grabbed 5 MTV Movie awards. Congratulations to Catherine Hardwicke, Summit Entertainment, and the cast of Twilight.
