Mary-Louise Parker regrets Nude Video from Weeds (Photos)
US actress Mary-Louise Parker is still sulking over her nude scene.
In August 2007, she posed nude for an ad for the third season of Weeds. In the ad, she appears as Eve in the Garden of Eden, with a snake draped around her body and a cannabis leaf behind her ear. In 2008, she was naked on screen several times during the show’s fourth season.
She claims that she was “goaded” into doing a scene involving a lingering shot of her naked breasts. In the season finale of Weeds last year, Mary-Louise Parker showed her breasts in an extended scene.
Parker said, “I didn’t think I needed to be naked, and I fought with the director about it, and now I’m bitter. I knew it was going to be on the Internet: ‘Mary-Louise shows off her big nipples.’ I wish I hadn’t done that. I was goaded into it”
But the show’s co-executive producer Robert Benabib says the scene was crucial to the storyline to illustrate the character’s vulnerability.
The fifth season of “Weeds” returns on June 8.
