Gary Dell Abate First Pitch Fail

Gary Dell’Abate, producer on the The Howard Stern Show and co-host of The Wrap-Up show on Sirius Radio, is an avid baseball fan of the New York Mets.  Gary “Baba Booey” Dell’Abate got a chance to throw out the first pitch on Saturday at the Mets game against the Pirates.

For weeks, Dell’Abate was nothing short of terrified about the event, going to the lengths of hiring a pitching coach to practice with.  However, Baba Booey messed up again.

As you can see in the video below, Dell ‘Abate nearly takes out the home plate umpire, which wouldn’t have been so bad except for the fact that he wasn’t yet behind home plate.

The good news is that he undertook the challenge in order to raise money for Autism Awareness.
