Farrah Leni Fawcett or better know as Farrah Fawcett is reportedly close to death.

Farrah Fawcett (born February 2, 1947) is an American actress. She is a noted pop culture figure whose hairstyle was emulated by millions of young women, and a sex symbol for millions in the 1970s and 1980s.

On October 4, 2006, it had been revealed that Fawcett was suffering from anal cancer, and was undergoing treatment, including chemotherapy and surgery.[21] Four months later, on her 60th birthday, the Associated Press wire service reported that Fawcett was, at that point, cancer free.[22] Fawcett said in a statement, “This is an extraordinarily happy day for me and my family. I hope that my news might offer some level of inspiration to others who unfortunately must continue to fight the disease.

Her struggle with this deadly disease was shown on an NBC documentary, Farrah’s Story. The two-hour documentary, Farrah’s Story, filmed by Fawcett and her friend Alana Stewart about her battle with the disease, aired on NBC on May 15, 2009.

Farrah Fawcett states the following in her documentary:

“Cancer, is a disease that is mysterious, headstrong and makes its own rules. And mine, to this date, is incurable.”

“I know that everyone will die eventually, but I do not want to die of this disease. I want to stay alive,”

So I say to God, because it is, after all, in his hands. It is seriously time for a miracle.”

Also in one interview in the documentary, she said:

“I’m holding on to the hope that there is some reason I got cancer and that there is something, that may not be very clear to me right now, that I will do. “As much as I would have liked to keep my cancer private, I have a certain responsibility to those fighting their own fights who may benefit about learning from mine.”

On the other hand. Farrah Fawcett has dropped a lawsuit she filed over the rights to her famous red swimsuit photo. Fawcett initially requested $100,000 minimum, but entered into a dismissal May 11.

Meanwhile, her partner Ryan O’Neal is being sued by a filmmaker who claims he is the man behind the Farrah Fawcett documentary “Farrah’s Story” that  aired on NBC.
