Ang Pinaka Lists Most Searched Pinoy Celebs in 2008
January 18, 2009 — Ang Pinaka in QTV listed the most searched Filipino celebrities in the Internet.
10. Dingdong Dantes
Dingdong played the lead role Sergio, and for the first time, teamed-up with Marian Rivera, who portrayed the role of Marimar. Dingdong was chosen as one of the 25 Sexiest Men of the World list in the Entertainment Television special. Dingdong Dantes is the only Filipino who made it, and the highest Asian who made the list and appeared with the world’s sexiest male celebrities.
9. Riza Santos
21 year old Riza Santos is a Filipina – Canadian beauty queen that represented Canada in Miss Earth 2006 and recently featured in the October 2007 issue of FHM Philippines. Riza Santos joined the famed PBB – Pinoy Big Brother reality show and won 2nd place.
8. Marian Rivera
A major breakout actress starting with Marimar, Marian Rivera was also crowned as FHM’s sexiest and was revealed to be not-so-friendly in an online video. Later during the year, Marian Rivera was even intrigued to be the cause of Dingdong Dantes’ break-up with Karylle.

Charice Pempengco was one of the finalists on the first season of Little Big Star and became an International Singing Sensation because of her popularity on YouTube. Recently, Charice performed at President Elect Barack Obama’s pre-inaugural ball at the Grand Hyatt Washington Hotel. Obama’s staff requested her to sing two songs, God Bless America and One Moment In Time.
